Bulbrokers is the investment intermediary to broker the biggest privatization deal on BSE-Sofia ever since the placement of the Bulgarian Telecommunication Company in 2005. For the first two days only, the shares of EVN Bulgaria Elektrorazpredelenie and EVN Bulgaria Elektrosnabdyavane were placed almost in whole. The Bulgarian government will receive more than 48 mln. euro, 45 mln. of which were paid directly by EVN AG Austria.

Bulbrokers has been picked to broker Bulgaria's 33% stake sale in Austria's EVN AG unit. This was announced by Bulgaria's sale body, the Privatization Agency, which selected the provider of brokerage services in a competition, which assigned the greatest significance to the offered commission after a sale and the turnover of deals inked by the bidders over the last years.
Bulgaria plans to sell the minority stake in the EVN and CEZ-operated electricity distributor on the Bulgarian Stock Exchange. Each of the units includes two companies in charge of sales and grid operation.
The contract with the intermediary will be signed within 14 days after they obtain the approval of the Supervisory Board of the Privatization Agency.
