Euro ended the week with an increase

The euro reached a monthly high on Friday of 1.0824 against the US dollar and ended the week at plus, making an increase of just over 3% last month and slightly above 0.5% for the week.

Slight weakening of the Japanese yen was observed on the last day of the week, after its raise strong during the week. After opening at the level of 110.97, it managed to close at 111.19.

The British currency also broke its uptrend on Friday against the US dollar and lost around 0.20% then closing the session at 1.2487, after reaching a daily low of 1.2467.

France's economy grew more strongly in the fourth quarter of last year than previously thought. During the months between October and December gross domestic product grew by 0.4% compared to the third quarter, when the French economy grew by only 0.2%.

Gold added another $ 3 to its uptrend and closed at $ 1247.
