New highs in the US and European stock markets

European shares recorded a seventh continuous day of growth on Wednesday as a major factor for this was the banking sector after Fed Chairman - Janet Yellen cause new heights in the financial sector through her statements, that it is more likely to cut interest rates sooner than expected.

European Stoxx Europe 6000 Index climbed 0.3% to 371.47, thus completed the highest level since December 2015 onwards. It is also the most powerful 7-day growth since the middle of last year.

Shares of European banks posted the strongest growth, namely Deutsche Bank AG - 2.5%, BNP Paribas 1.25% and UBS Group 1.32%.

US indices closed at new highs in the last session at record levels for the fifth consecutive session. Investors continue to expect that Donald Trump will focus on policy to support growth. Yesterday US President had a meeting with the chief executives of companies that are concentrated in the retail sector. Then, Trump mentioned that his administration will focus on economic growth.

SP500 added new 0.49% and climbed to 2 349.13 followed by the Nasdaq, which added new growth from 0.64% to 5 819.44 and Dow Jones, which added 107 points or 0.52% to 20 611.86.
