Mixed performance on the stock exchanges in Europe

On Friday, the major exchanges in Europe failed to reach consensus and closed in different directions.

German DAX30 index closed at 12,064.27, after rising 0.20 percent or 24.59 points increase. The index increased in value throughout the trading session, the bottom was formed at the beginning of the day after an correction to the 20-period moving average on the 15 minute chart.

British FTSE 100 recorded a minimal decrease of 0.05%, losing 3.89 points to the level of 7336.82. The decline in share prices of companies in the sectors of fixed telecommunications, industrial metals and manufacturing of medical equipment was the cause of this result.

At the end of the trading session, markets were awaiting the results of the vote on the healthcare bill as part of the President Trump’s reform, and major US indices traded in the following ranges: Dow Jones - 20650 - 20660, S & P500 - 2335-2339 points; Nasdaq - 5344 - 5352.
